"Toshiro's Lady"

This guitar is one of the more conceptual pieces I've made. Sometimes an object will capture my imagination and seed a guitar design that explodes the boundaries of the traditional approach.
Two half-shells of an old Asian prayer box are used for the volume and tone controls. The body anchors a through-neck with Strandberg tuners and a BoneTop P-90 style pickup.
The EGB Community Build: the "JaM" (Jacco & Michael) guitar

This guitar was made during a visit by Jacco Stuitje to our shop in Vienna - we wanted to see if a Tele could be made in 2 hours. Well, it got more complicated as we went along having fun and adding features. It turned out very nicely - but it did take longer than 2 hours...
Made from local woods: the body is Pear wood, chambered with a top of Austrian Pine. The neck is made of Bosnian Maple and the fingerboard is Dutch Laburnum. A custom made aluminum nut, a pair of Rikkers Guitars Humbuckers, a Schaller Stoptail, Gotoh tuners and Dunlop Straplocks complete the hardware.
"GASP"

"GASP" (Galassso&Spalt) is a collaboration between Ezequiel Galasso and me during a visit by Ezequiel in Vienna after the Holy Grail Show in 2015. A fun build with scrounged parts from the shop. Rough and ready this guitar plays fast and raunchy. A vintage lap steel pickup provides a sweet tone with wonderful harmonics.
