'RedThread' was commissioned for Kaki King and takes its theme from the title of her album.  With her technique in mind I hollowed out the back and added a soundhole, creating a 'thinline'-type instrument.  Graph-Tech Piezos in the bridge help transmit the percussive qualities of her playing and can be blended in with the Joe Barden pickups.

Mahogany body, Maple neck with Cocobolo fingerboard.  A Bigsby style tremolo with a Schaller roller bridge, Lollar P-90's and Gotho vintage style tuners complete this homage to the 'Who'.

Flame Meranti body, flame Koa neck with Rosewood fingerboard.  Joe Barden single/humbucker combination.
