The Anand Project
Four instruments specially suited to Anand Bennet's playing style, from mandolin- to full-scale bass size. All necks were made from the same board to ensure consistency. Due to tuning and string gauges resulting in above average tension, the necks are also reinforced with graphite rods and all instruments are provided with string through bridges. Sperzel tuners were selected as they make the same style in Bass and guitar size. Except for the full-size bass, the back plates are the same type I used on my earlier instruments. Anand also requested that all instruments be fitted with a pick holder below the pickups.
